Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a Notification regarding recruitment for the post of Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators, Senior Hindi Translator & Hindi Pradhyapak Examination recently. Interested candidates may apply Online from 02.04.2016 to 28.04.2016 for Part-I registration and up to 30.04.2016 for Part-II registration.

4.   Junior Translator / Junior Hindi Translator in subordinate offices who have adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT
5.   Senior Hindi Translator in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments / Offices
6.   Junior Translator / Junior Hindi Translator in subordinate offices who have not yet adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT
7.   Hindi Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Training Institute (CHTI)

Nationality: Indian

Age Limit:  30 years as on 01.01.2016.

Educational Qualification:

  • For Junior Translator & Senior Hindi Translator : Master‟s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level and Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

  • For Hindi Pradhyapak : Bachelor’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subject at degree level either as compulsory or optional from a recognized University or Institute plus Master’s degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute.

Selection Process: 
Selection will based on Written Examination. The written examination will consist of Paper-I which is of Objective Type & Paper-II which will be of Conventional Type.

Application Fee: 
Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- through net-banking/credit cards or debit cards or cash through SBI bank challan. There is no examination fee for Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen.
